Kendra Weisbrodt
I was born and raised in Lacombe, and then spent the next 18 years raising my family in the Okanagan. My 3 teenagers and I moved to Olds in 2022 and we have been enjoying all that Central Alberta has to offer. We spend our time hunting, snowmobiling and ice fishing in the fall and winter months, and we enjoy golfing, fishing and having dinners at the lake in the summer. We are an active sports family, playing, coaching and volunteering on the local volleyball, baseball, softball and football teams.
I began my education career as a noon hour supervisor when my children were small. I completed the Education Certificate program at Okanagan College in 2012 and began my 9 year career as an EA at Davidson Road Elementary in Lake Country, BC, and completed my career at George Elliot Secondary School in 2021.
I started with CESD in the Spring of 2022 as a substitute EA and was hired as the Success Coach for Bowden and Spruce View to begin the 2022-2023 school year. I had the opportunity to transfer to Olds in February of 2023 and now I have the privilege of spending my time facilitating the YES programming at Deer Meadow, Olds High, Koinonia and Reed Ranch.
I am passionate about connecting with the community. I love supporting and celebrating the strengthening of families as well as helping youth discover their gifts and abilities and how to use them to make a positive impact in this world.
